Teton Mountain Bike Tours was started in 1991 by David & Teresa Hunger,
who saw the need to provide a Guided Mountain Bike Touring Service in the Greater
Jackson Hole Area. TMBT started on a shoestring, but with David’s passion for mountain biking and extensive experience as an outdoor guide plus Teresa’s strong business skills & experience, they survived the early years and have become a premier mountain bike guide service. Our tours offer an excellent non-motorized alternative for seeing and learning about the unique characteristics of the Greater Teton – Yellowstone area. |
Teton Mountain Bike Tour Guides are a diverse group of professional outdoor individuals, who have outstanding interpersonal skills plus the passion to share their knowledge with each of our guests. Our guides are trained extensively in mountain bike skills and maintenance, first aid and CPR, local &
natural history plus group dynamic skills. Our guides make each TMBT Tour - a unique and memorable experience for our guests.
Teton Mountain Bike Tours recognizes our duty to be responsible stewards of the landscape and resources in which we operate our mountain bike tours. We are active in trail maintenance in the Greater Jackson Hole Area and are a corporate member of
the International Mountain Bike Association -
www.imba.com. We educate our guests on the IMBA Trail Rules and promote respectful and wise use of the established
trails in the area.
Teton Mountain Bike Tours operates under Special Use Permits in the Bridger-Teton &
Targhee National Forests; Incidental Business Permits in Grand Teton & Yellowstone
National Parks and Bureau of Land Management Permit in the Dubois Badlands.
David and Teresa also own Teton View Properties, a real estate brokerage firm based in
Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They would like to share their love of the area with those looking to purchase property in the valley. The benefits to living in Wyoming are
